It seems that this is the premiere cafe in Bellingham! It gets very busy, even on weekdays, so arrive early or be ready to wait for a bit. But it is so, so worth it. They have a small menu, but it's all delicious. I really enjoyed a toast with hazelnuts, chevre, thyme, and honey. I also tried a biscuit and a "best cookie" and they were both fantastic. Of course, the drinks are also solid. I had a seasonal latte and it was lovely. Equally enchanting is the atmosphere. Tons of natural light, cute decorations, and plants everywhere! They do a great job of squeezing in a lot of tables without it feeling cramped. It's a great place to sit and work for a while. They have free Wi-Fi and a few outlets for laptop users.

Such an amazing cozy coffee shop! I have visited this cafe on my way to Seattle. They have very tasty Masala tea here made fresh and very aromatic. Great service and welcoming place.
Caught a chair at Mt. Baker with Micah and a few others from Café Blue, and after chatting with them I had to come try the coffee. So glad I did, the cappuccino was absolutely amazing. The chairlift banter was just as good. Such a great group of people and a cozy atmosphere at the café. I’ll definitely be back to try the food and would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
My delicious cappuccino was a wicked cauldron of caffeine! I hardly needed the sugar in that molasses cookie I saw come out of the oven. Nice vibes going on here, stop in!
Cafe Blue is one of the coolest and cutest coffee shops in town. Everything they make, from their coffee/tea drinks to the pastries, are just so thoughtfully made and taste amazing. Walking into their space can feel like walking into someone’s home; it’s cozy, it feels full of life, and it just feels so community-forward, which I love. Delicious toasts, cozy atmosphere. The only note is when it’s busy (like on a Saturday morning,) you’re not always sure if/when a table will become available so it can feel like a bit of a gamble standing in line if you’ll have a table or not. That said, I ended up waiting only a few minutes for a table for a group of 4 so it wasn’t a big deal!
There’s a reason why this cute, quirky cafe has 4.9 stars rating in a town filled of cafes! Latte is silky smooth with good coffee profile flavor as some said . Staff is friendly and fashionable. Love their decor and vibes.
This place is lovely. I often go to Fairhaven for a morning Coffee and a walk. They are one of only a couple shops that open as early as 8, and the seasonal specials are delectable. The only concern I have is that the shop has gotten popular enough that seating is at a premium within a few minutes of the doors opening, and waiting for to go cups often means awkwardly standing in the way or waiting outside(when the weather permits). Possibly time to consider expanding into neighboring spaces, or moving somewhere with more table space?
